SV, SX, SL, SH, SK, the five series of static mixers are the new advanced equipments at present in the dometic market. They are widely used in the process of mixing, emulsification, absorption, extraction, reaction, strengthen and heating for liquid - liquid, liquid - solid, liquid - gas, gas – gas. And they are of the ideal mixing equipment for chemical, pharmaceutical, food, synthetic fibers, plastics, environmental protection, mining and metallurugy, paper making, coal gas and other departments, with the advantages of wide range of applications, operating flexibility, simple process, reasonable structure, low investment, low energy consumption, quick effect, especially the appliance for the difficult mixing continue technical process.
Structural characteristics and principles of mixing
The static mixer’s mixing processed depends on the compound components fixed in the tube. These components make the fluid to right-hand or left-hand spin from time to time, change the flow’s direction constantly, not only push the fluid in the centra to , but also push the fluid to the center, resulting in a good mixing effect with radial direction. Meanwhile, the turning effort of the fluid occurs on the interface of the adjacent components’ junction. The perfect mixing of the radial circulation reduces the temperature gradient, velocity gradient and quality gradient of the fluid on the cross-section of the pipe.

Installation
When installing the static mixer to technical pipes, the mixer should be as close as possible to the initial distribution place or exit of fluid, except in special specified, usually it is available for import and export of equipment at both ends, due to usage of different occasions, the installation form also changes.

static mixer’s usage and maintenance
Since my company has a strict quality assurance system, and all of the products are tested before shipping, so we ensure the products are with reliable performance.
For the SH series, due to its high precision machining, maintenance difficulties, require to use the medium or solvent, which can clean the viscous fluid dissolves under high temperature. For the SV series, as a result of blocking, it can be disassembled, or cleaned by water (steam) or solvent, you can also take apart the unit to remove the blocking material. For the active units of SK series, you can pull out the full unit, but cannot knock the unit while pulling, in order not to cause the unit transformed. Usually for different requirements, as long as choosing the right product specifications, models and materials, the static mixer can be avoided maintenance. So users should specify the flange criteria and static mixer’s working media and temperature, if it is jacketed products, should provide the maximum working pressure of the tube pass and jacket and other design parameters. |
